Maymont Park/ Richmond Christmas/ Things To Love
Taking rides in horse drawn carriages is something we love to do. So once a year we do it! When you are going along it is easy to think about how it must have been just over one hundred years ago. Few people had cars. A horse was an important member of the family.

We went along down the road and it was very quiet except for the sound of the horses hooves on the pavement. The weather was actually warmer than we expected. And there were candles along the way in little paper bags on the ground. Garlands were hung around the windows of the buildings we passed. And another year has gone by.
