One Year Old/ "days of our lives"/ Poetry
One year old you are today
And moving forward on your climb
To three and six and ten years old
Days that seem so far away
But will be here without delay.
Still there will never be a time
When innocence is more sublime
And you face brighter with love.
As you wonder
Why strangers adore you
And where do they go
When they walk out the door
And fall off the edge of the world.

Beautiful poem and photo David. I love his eyes and curls. I can see why he melts his Grandpa’s heart!
Thank you. Yes he did a great job of entertaining all of us at his party too. He has some funny expressions.
