At first cock-crow the ghosts must go
Back to their quiet graves below.
~Theodosia GarrisonOne need not be a chamber to be haunted;
One need not be a house;
The brain has corridors surpassing
Material place.

And as long as we are going down this road now is probably a good time to hear from Michael Jackson, too. MJ who died the way he lived and lived the way he died.
Michael I hope you are happy (wherever you are) and finally have a nose you can enjoy for a long time. Why not get together with Janis, Elvis, Jim, John and the rest and do something like We Are The World Beyond?
We Had A Party!
Last weekend we had a party to celebrate some birthdays.
I put up a bunch of photos of my grandchildren on my photoblog if anyone is interested in looking at them. We are still having some wonderful weather here in Virginia. I can’t remember a spring that has been so pleasant. It rained for awhile and now the sun comes up shining every morning while the temperature starts out in the fifties or low sixties.
All the blogs are running well and I am in a great mood because of the weather and a few other things like the recent family gathering.
So watch out! I become almost sociable at a time like this. I may be by to say hi and investigate your latest post or photo.
Do you put up photos of your family on your blog? I would love to look at them if you leave a link.
Charlie And Friends
Here are some photos from my trip up to Lynchburg yesterday. Jeremy and his wonderful wife, Sarah, are expecting their second child any day now. Charlie will be having a little sister soon. Everyone is excited. Sarah is having a hard time of it. But her parents are around and Jeremy is doing everything he can.

The National D-Day Memorial Photos / Bedford, Virginia
Jeremy and I had a chance to get out while Sarah and Charlie were taking a nap. And the Bedford D-Day Memorial is just down the road. So we went there to see this amazing memorial to the fighting men and women who went through that terrible day with such amazing courage.
